1. Does Zitronen Consulting handle tax filing?
Not directly. However, we ensure your books are tax-ready under our Improve Service or higher service tiers, and we coordinate directly with your tax preparer when needed. If you don’t currently have one, we’re happy to refer you to a trusted tax professional we work with regularly.
2. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept ACH or Credit Card payments
3. When is payment due each month?
Payments are automatically processed on the first of each month for that month’s services.
4. What if I start service in the middle of the month?
Your first invoice will be prorated based on your start date. After that, billing follows our standard schedule on the first of each month.
5. How do I cancel services?
We require 30 days’ written notice to cancel. Cancellations submitted with less than 30 days’ notice may be subject to a prorated refund at our discretion.
6. Do you work exclusively with auto repair shops?
Yes. Our bookkeeping, reporting, and advisory services are built specifically around the financial realities of auto repair shops — parts margins, labor billing, technician productivity, and shop cash flow. We don’t offer general small-business bookkeeping.
7. What’s included in your bookkeeping service?
Our core bookkeeping services include transaction coding, account reconciliation, and monthly financial reporting. Clients on higher service tiers also receive fractional CFO support, financial strategy guidance, and direct advisory access to our founder. Full details are available on our Services & Pricing page.
8. How is Zitronen different from a typical bookkeeper?
Most bookkeepers deliver reports without context. We focus on making sure you understand what those numbers mean for your shop — and how to use them to make better decisions about pricing, staffing, and growth. Every client also has direct access to our founder, who built his career inside the automotive industry before moving into corporate finance.
